ATEND and The University of Queensland invite you to register now for the next Pathways conference to be held at the St Lucia campus from 1–3 December 2025.

This year's conference promises to foster innovative and future-focused thinking through knowledge sharing and discussion. Join us to navigate the shifting landscape of the sector and explore reimagined service support and practice models. 

This year’s conference theme is Designing for All: Shaping Inclusive Futures in Higher Education and VET’.

Who should attend?

This event welcomes attendance by all disability practitioners and advocates across higher education and Vocational Education and Training (VET). Additionally, we welcome educators, policy makers and researchers with a focus on disability from within the sector.

What to expect?

3 keynote speakers, diverse speakers and sessions, hospitality and dedicated time to connect with peers, share experiences and make new connections.

The Australian Tertiary Education Network on Disability (ATEND) is the peak professional organization for disability practitioners and National Disability Coordination Officers (NDCOs) within Australia's higher education and vocational training sectors. Our core purpose is to champion equitable access and success for people with disabilities in tertiary education. We work to support our members—the dedicated professionals on the frontline of disability support—by providing a powerful platform for advocacy, professional development, and networking. ATEND strives to influence government policy and institutional practices, ensuring the principles of the Disability Standards for Education Act 2005 are consistently and effectively applied across all post-secondary institutions.
